Described as the world’s first social magazine, the Flipboard app is exactly that. It combines all social networking sites into one combined feed that reads like a well laid out magazine. This looks like a wicked idea and one that is very well designed, it takes away the horror of those ugly links you see on Twitter and Facebook and displays them within the same page – updating as it happens. It was only a matter of time before something like this made its way to the iPad and I’m glad it’s doe so well. Now, I need to get an iPad.

I can see this being the future of print magazines and I think they should embrace it with two hands.
